Photography conference in Kelowna

At the end of June I went to Kelowna, BC, along with other photographers from across Canada, to attend the Canadian Photography Conference. The conference was put on by CAPA, the Canadian Association for Photographic Art, a photography organization that I am a member of. We gathered to connect with each other, take photographs of the Kelowna area and to hear from speakers teach on a variety of topics around the theme of “Elevating Art in Photography”. I also took part in a couple evening photo outings during the conference. The final evening there was a gala dinner and awards presentation. This took place at the KF Centre for Excellence, an aviation museum.
